McKayla Boyd is 15 years old, lives in Iowa, and is currently a freshman in high school. She has always enjoyed writing short stories as a hobby. If she is not brainstorming ideas, she has her nose stuck in a book. She likes all sorts of books including classical, fantasy and romance. McKayla began writing The Other World in the summer of 2010 as a test to herself to see if she could write more than a short story. She has always aspired to be a famous author when she grows up. That is and always has been her goal and ambition.
