Benjamin Heckmann is a fourteen year old boy from Minnesota. He lives with his family and two dogs. He absolutely loves music, especially punk rock. In his spare time Ben loves to play his guitars, write music and stories, draw characters, and go to rock concerts. Ben is a huge fan of Green Day, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance and Blink 182. He got his inspiration for the characters in Velvet Black from playing in his own band and watching his favorite artists perform. This is the second book in the Velvet Black series.
