Brandon M. Liu is nine years old and attends Castle Rock Elementary School in Diamond Bar, California. Brandon has been admitted to the California Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program, Spelling Bee class champion and is also the 2010 SCAT award recipient of Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth Program. Brandon is a habitual high volume reader of children's books. He enjoys experimenting with iPhone apps, authoring comic books, training in tennis, is active in his Cub Scouting activities, currently in Webelos I with Pack 737.In this current book he borrows clues and ideas from his adopted (and eventually released) wild alligator lizard, and his school of pet Red Jewel fish.
