Lera is a bit lonely.

Daughter of an important and wealthy medieval family, Lera is supposed to be learning the finer points of being a lady. Trouble is, Lera doesn't really enjoy the frills and fancy of ladyhood and would rather take her own, quite un-lady like path in life. Hope arrives in the form of a prophecy that throws her headlong into a world where daggers replace dresses and fighting replaces finery. Everyone but Lera seems to know what the prophecy foretells, but she's certain it has something to do with a strange talent that she's discovered...
