Dylan DeVries was born in Mission, British Columbia but moved to Colorado when he was two and lived there for six years. For the past four years he has lived on Kootenay Lake in Nelson, British Columbia, with his parents, older sister, and dog Max. He loves to snowboard, wakeboard, play at the beach, and of course, draw. Dylan is in Grade 7, plays the guitar, and is close to getting his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Dylan began drawing comics when he was eight, starting with three-panel comics inspired by Garfield, but now is influenced by the single-panel format of The Far Side.
